The Care at Home Service operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week every day of the year.
Age Concern Newcastle employs 120 care workers and provide approximately 3000 hours of care per week. Most of the service is provided under contract to Newcastle Social Services Directorate, but people are able to purchase privately.
